Mobile Site Optimisation – do you know how many of your users are using mobile devices?

This rapidly changing area will likely surprise you. With iPhones, iPads, smart phones, blackberries, tablets and more, up to 30% of your sites traffic could already be seeing your website on their mobile device.

It pays to keep an eye on the figures here because a site with 10% of visits coming from a mobile device can soon have 25%-30% and more, and it isn’t all about user experience either. How do the search engines handle the mobile version of your site, are the visitors to your mobile site tracked in Google Analytics and on what domain does your mobile version sit.
